दुस् — {dus} ind. a prefix to nouns and rarely to verbs or adverbs (cf. Pāṇ. 2-1, 6 ; 2, 18 2 ; iii, 3, 126 &c.) implying evil, bad, difficult, hard##badly, hardly ; slight, inferior &c. (opp. to {su}), often = Engl. {in-} or {un-} [cf.√2. {duṣ} ; Zd. {dush-}##Gk. ? ; Goth. {tuś-} ; OḤ.G. {śur}.].
