आदित्य — {ādityá} (cf. Pāṇ. 4-1, 85), mfn. belonging to or coming from Aditi ii, 2, 6, 1 &c.##m. 'son of Aditi'##({ās}), m. pl, N. of seven deities of the heavenly sphere ix, 114, 3, &c. iii, 1, 3, 3 (the chief is Varuṇa, to whom the N.
